Antalya hosts a large seasonal tourist population, and many visitors look for a pharmacy at an hour when ordinary shops have closed. The city itself is formed by the central districts of Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı and Kepez, where the AntRay tram links several neighbourhoods. Resort districts such as Alanya, Manavgat and Kemer lie much further along the coast and run their own duty rotations, so hotel guests are better served by searching the district where they are staying.
Kaleiçi, Lara and the eastern beaches belong to Muratpaşa, while the long pebble beach west of the cliffs lies in Konyaaltı. Guests further east may need Alanya, roughly two hours away by road. Visitors should carry a passport, together with any prescription or medicine box they brought from home; it helps the pharmacist find an equivalent product sold in Türkiye.
