We Started the Day with Sound Meditation
We began the day with a sound meditation led by Happ Health instructor Şule Yalçıntan. This relaxing start offered participants physical and mental renewal.
At breakfast, Dietitian İrem Şerolar shared scientific information about healthy nutrition and cancer-protective nutrition programmes. Food intolerance detection and related work were also discussed, and Happ Health gifted Biitest Premium Intolerance Tests to participants.
Breast Ultrasound and Self-Examination Training in the Pink Cabin
After breakfast, in the pink cabin established with Happ Health and VM Medical Park Maltepe Hospital, Radiology Specialist Dr Duygu Kara performed breast ultrasounds for the guests. Breast Surgeon Associate Professor Didem Trabulus demonstrated self-examination methods and shared four critical points to consider:
- Nipples facing the same direction
- Bloody fluid discharge
- Indentations in the breast
- Pea-sized palpable masses
Associate Professor Trabulus noted that these signs can indicate breast cancer and require prompt medical consultation. She also emphasised annual breast ultrasound for women under 40 and regular mammography checks for women over 40.
Breast Cancer Awareness in Men
The event drew attention not only to women but also to breast cancer in men. Breast ultrasound was performed for male participants, highlighting that breast cancer can threaten men’s health as well.
The Importance of Digitalisation in Health
Happ Health Project Management and Operations Director Duygu Özdemir explained how the Happ Health Digital Health Platform contributes to transformation in healthcare and why digitalisation matters. Digital solutions can help more people access health services.
Well-known guests and health professionals delivered an important message to society with #PinkTouch: breast health can be protected not only through regular checks, but also through self-examination and informed awareness.
Remember: early diagnosis saves lives. Make time for yourself and your loved ones, and do not neglect your health. Every pink touch is a strong step toward the future.
