“Our Strength Is Awareness” with Cancer-Free Living Association

The “Our Strength Is Awareness” launch, hosted by Happ Health, the Cancer-Free Living Association, and Peggi Consultancy founder Pelin Ertürk, was held to raise awareness about cancer and draw attention to the importance of accurate information in healthcare. Zeynep Soylu moderated the event, while Happ Health Project Management Director Duygu Özdemir delivered the opening speech.

Cancer Awareness Addressed Through Expert Perspectives

As part of the event, Specialist Dr. Şaban Seçmeler provided information on current cancer treatments, while Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Muzaffer Aloğlu evaluated home healthcare services and the health needs of cancer patients.

Specialist Dietitian Gözdenur Çavuş Uka emphasized the importance of nutrition for cancer patients, while Specialist Psychologist Yağmur Akbulut addressed the importance of psychological support for cancer patients and their relatives.

Different stages of the cancer journey, including treatment types, the importance of early diagnosis, nutrition, psychological support, and the grieving and loss process, were comprehensively evaluated by experts.

50 Free Check-Ups for the Cancer-Free Living Association

As part of the event, 50 free check-up services valid at Medical Park hospitals were provided to the Cancer-Free Living Association.

This support aimed to facilitate access to health check-ups and draw attention to the importance of regular health assessments.

Influential Names Came Together for Awareness

Influencers such as Serap Korkmaz Arslan, Merve Oflaz, Mina Ceran, and Jennifer Boyner also attended the launch.

By bringing together healthcare professionals, civil society representatives, and guests from different fields, the event contributed to strengthening cancer awareness.
