Türkiye's Famous Make-Up Artists Announced the "2025 Make-Up Trend" for You

As Happ Health, following a year focused on health and well-being, we held a special gathering where we also discussed developments in the world of beauty and personal care.

During our conversations with renowned make-up artists Hamiyet Akpınar and Yiğit İzgi, we discussed many topics, from 2025 make-up trends and skincare to sun protection and the natural make-up approach.

Natural Looks and Healthy Skin Take Center Stage

It was highlighted that natural and healthy-looking skin will take center stage among the 2025 make-up trends. Minimalist skincare, a natural complexion, and practices that support the skin’s own structure were among the prominent topics.

This approach also revealed that beauty should be considered not only through make-up products but also together with a healthy skincare routine.

Sun Protection Is an Important Part of a Beauty Routine

The importance of using sunscreen was also emphasized during the conversations. It was highlighted that protecting the skin from the sun should be part of a daily care routine in order to maintain skin health.

Trends Ranging from the ’90s to Colorful Eye Make-up

In 2025, the influence of the ’90s, smoky eye make-up, and colorful eyeliners and mascaras are expected to stand out, while lavender, baby blue, and soft pink tones are also expected to take their place in the world of make-up.

Mocha mousse tones, monochromatic make-up, a dewy skin look, and glossy lips were also among the notable trends of the year.

What to Avoid

In 2025, heavy foundations and sharp contouring applications are expected to begin to decline. Extremely glittery, shimmery eyeshadows will be replaced by matte and satin textures.

On the other hand, overly thick eyebrows are giving way to natural and voluminous brows. The sharp eyeliner look will be reinterpreted with a smoky liner. Drawing along the eyes with a pencil and softly blending it to shape the eyes will be a frequently used technique.

In addition, overly dense lashes will evolve into individually defined lashes with a wet-effect appearance. While the flushed-cheek trend continues, bronzers are also expected to rise in popularity.
