Biography

1990da Hacettepe üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesini bitirdi. İç Hastalıkları ve peşisıra Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları ihtisaslarını Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesinde tamamladıktan sonra aynı hastanede başasistan ve klinik şef yardımcısı olarak çalıştı. 2003 yılında Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesinde Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma kliniğini kurdu ve bu klinik Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesinden sonra ülkemizde yandal eğitimi veren ikinci Endokrinoloji kliniği olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2009-2011 yılları arasında Ulusal Diyabet ve Obezite koordinatörlüğü yaptığı dönemde 2010-2014 Ulusal Diyabet Eylem Planı oluşturuldu. 2012 yılında Hitit Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne profesör olarak atandıktan itibaren Tıp Fakültesi kuruluş çalışmalarına katkı vermiştir. 2016 sonundan itibaren Ankara Liv Hospital Endokrinoloji kliniğinde görev hastalarına hizmet vermektedir.
